Farhan all set to groove today

Girls, do you want Farhan Akhtar to sing for you? Well, if you want your dream to come true, you have to rush today to the Bandra Amphitheatre, near Taj Land’s End (3 pm to 7 pm).
Farhan, who debuted as a director in Dil Chahta Hai, later sang for his film Rock On! (2008).
He sang five out of the nine songs in the film. During the promotion of the movie, he had also performed live for audiences and regaled them with songs from Rock On!.This time he will not just belt out his hit songs — strictly for girls — but also engage them in other fun programmes as a part of Pond’s ‘Fun in the Sun’ activity.
Farhan has always been passionate about his music. In fact, Rock On! was about four members of a band who reunite after they go their separate ways and shows how they recapture the hearts of their fans. Farhan played the role of the lead singer in the movie. This concert will mark his return to live performance after two-and-a-half years. “Farhan’s last concert was a sell-out and since then efforts have been made to get him back on stage,” says a source.
